When requesting a commission, the client automatically agrees to the terms of service.

The artist reserves the right to accept or deny commissions on a case by case basis.

The artist reserves the right of cancellation of service at any point.

Resulting commissions are digital goods, delivered through a .png image with the artist's signature. Nothing will be delivered in prints or shipped out.

Commission communication will only be handled through email, or discord if the client and the artist have already established communication there.

Any subject not mentioned is otherwise very likely to be accepted. This includes but isn't limited to animals, humans, anthros, real people, pets, original characters, etc.

Requests that don't include a visual reference will be subjected to an additional design fee, starting at 30% over the base price. The design fee may increase depending on complexity.

Payment is only done through Paypal invoice, or USA bank transfer.

Payment must be fulfilled in US dollars (USD).

The client may only pay once a quote and an invoice has been provided. Payment must be done in full before continuing work in the commission.

If the commission is cancelled (either by the artist or the client), a refund may be requested. The extent of the refund will be determined by the amount of work completed. Full refunds are only granted if there has been no work made in the commission.

Prices may be adjusted depending on detail and/or public demand. If a client has completed payment for a commission with updated pricing, the previous price will be honoured. This does not apply to hypothetical quotes or unpaid commission inquiries.

The client reserves the right to request for progression checks in moderation. However, too frequent requestments will be tagged as harassment and may result in cancellation.

Edits and revisions can be carried out without charge only when discussing thumbnails and during the sketch stage (see here for more information). Large edits (e.g. pose change) will not be made beyond the sketch stage.

Edits requested in more advanced stages may include an additional fee, unless this edit is to rectify an error (e.g. missing a detail from a visual reference)

Commercial use of the resulting product is not allowed per these terms. This includes but is not limited to: selling copies, prints and merchandise with the artwork. If you are interested in a commercial product, contact the artist privately.

The client is not allowed to use the resulting product in any blockchain-based technologies, such as NFTs, cryptocurrency or similar.

The client is not allowed to use the resulting artwork for machine learning or training of artificial intelligences (AI).

The client reserves the right to keep a commission anonymous or private. Unless requested otherwise, the client allows the artist (akaitori) to post the resulting product in social media and personal portfolios.

The client may repost or use the resulting product in a personal manner as long as proper credit is attributed. Removing or cropping watermarks/signatures for the purpose of reposting is not allowed.

The client is not allowed to change or edit the resulting product in any form, unless it is cropping for the purpose of using as an avatar, wallpaper, banner or similar. If any tweak is required, contact the artist.

I will reply to either accept the commission, ask for more information, or deny the request. You are welcome to try again after a few months, sometimes I have to be selective over what I can accept.

I will make a thumbnail or a very basic sketch at no cost, to make sure I have understood your request and to provide a final quote.

Once settled on payment, I will send you a Paypal invoice. You will have 72 hours to pay it, otherwise the inquiry will be put on stand-by and you will placed last on the queue.
